Lyamongi Expeditions is not just a company; it represents the spirit of Kilimanjaro. Founded by local guides who grew up on the slopes of this majestic mountain, we wanted to create a travel experience that is authentic, affordable, and ethically responsible.
We cut out the international middlemen to give you the best price while ensuring our team gets paid what they truly deserve.

We believe that a happy crew leads to a successful summit. While we are currently in the process of official certifications, our internal standards often exceed industry requirements because our porters are our neighbors, friends, and family.
We pay above the recommended daily rates. No delays, no excuses.
We provide professional mountaineering boots and warm jackets for all crew members.
Our crew eats the same quality food as our guests, 3 times a day.
